May/June: Our Community
During the months of May and June our K-2nd graders continued learning all about being good citizens. We learned about the many different neighborhoods here on Staten Island. We used our Smart Board to research Community Helpers and the jobs they have. Students shared the many different customs and traditions that their families celebrate. We sang new citizenship songs, created family trees, developed neighborhood maps using laptops, and did more role playing with our puppets.
