December: FRIENDSHIP, CARING, COMPASSION
Our Citizenship words for December included, FRIENDSHIP, CARING, and COMPASSION.
We used our Smart Board to learn how to be a good friend with Annie and Mobie at Brain Pop Jr.
We learned a new friendship song, and studied all about the community helpers inside our school community and outside in our neighborhoods.
We read many stories about Compassion, Kindness, and Caring. Our students made beautiful Holiday Cards for our Troops!!! ANd finally we celebrated UNITY IN OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY by practicing some acts of kindness in school and at home. Students created Compassion necklaces and a helping hands school poster.
